Our Process

Sunshine Sprouts has been supplying South Australia with fresh, quality sprouts for more than two decades.


We harvest five days a week and proudly supply Coles, Drakes, Foodland, IGAs and independent fruit and vegetable businesses around South Australia and the Northern Territory.


All our seeds are sourced from accredited suppliers and tested in an accredited food safety laboratory for any traces of harmful bacteria before use.


We sanitise seed according to SA and FSANZ guidelines before the sprouting process begins in specially-designed rotary tumblers, and hydroponic cabinets and racks.


Immediately upon harvest, our sprouts are packed, labelled, chilled and distributed to market as a high-protein nutritious food that you’ll find in the chilled vegetables section on supermarket shelves.


Our processes are subject to stringent testing and auditing, to ensure the safety of our products, which have their highest nutritional value when eaten raw.
